Pick-up/Drop-off Procedures

At Liberty Ridge we need your help to keep the school and your children safe. EVERY child’s safety is important to us. It remains our highest priority to ensure that students enter and exit cars in a safe and organized way, so we are asking everyone to correctly follow our pick-up and drop-off procedures. Failure to do so creates chaos, frustration and unsafe conditions. Each family should discuss these loading and walking procedures:

Drop off begins at 8:10 each morning and 9:40 on Monday late starts. Students should only get out of their car when an adult opens the car door for them. Please make sure your child is ready to quickly exit their car to keep our system running smoothly. The gates to the drop off loop will be closed at 8:25 each morning and at 9:55 on late start Mondays. If you arrive after the gates are closed, please park in the main lot and walk your child into the building and sign them in. 

Pick up begins at 3:05 each day. Every family will be given two car tags to hang in their rear view mirror. These tags ensure that your child is getting out to the pick up area in a timely manner-please make sure to have them displayed. If you are changing the way your child is going home make sure to call the office by 2:00 so that information can be communicated with your child’s classroom teacher.
